This specially curated space reveals the shared approach between two brands separated by geography but united by their design philosophy of patient collaboration and the willingness to refine details until beauty emerges. The exhibition focuses on the moments of daily life where thoughtful objects matter most.

Styled by Tine Daring, the exhibition takes the form of an intimate apartment, allowing visitors to discover how two distinct brands can come together to create interiors for meaningful living. Ariake's contemplative furniture forms the framework for human connection, while Parachilna's sculptural lighting transforms spaces through carefully considered illumination, where light itself becomes architecture.

The scenography also features objects by Origin Made, rugs by Sera Helsinki, and sculptures by Gen Taniguchi, master craftsman of 300-year-old family-run Nao Washi mill, creating a truly contemplative and meditative retreat from the outside world.

"We wanted to focus on the moments of daily life where thoughtful objects matter. Both Ariake and Parachilna design for human connection: how people gather, work, and live together, so the apartment setting reveals how furniture and lighting can create an environment that is a respite from the busy world while supporting intentional living" concludes Anja Bothe, founder of EST.18
