Dries Van Noten基金會於2026年4月25日10月4日至在威尼斯正式開啟其首場展覽。本次展覽以「THE ONLY TRUE PROTEST IS BEAUTY」為題,靈感源自美國民謠歌手兼社運人士Phil Ochs的名言:「在如此醜陋的時代,美是唯一的抗議。」 在此,美不被視為單純的悅目之物,而是一種強烈的情感碰撞、一種出人意料的共鳴,甚至是足以擾動平庸、喚醒感官的深刻不安。

展覽由Dries Van Noten親自策劃,旨在探索工藝作為表達語言與情感載體的無限可能。展覽內容打破傳統的學科藩籬,彙集時尚設計、珠寶藝術、當代攝影、玻璃陶瓷及材料實驗等多樣形式,共同探究美如何質疑常規。 展場選址於極具歷史意義的威尼斯莫雷塔宮(Palazzo Pisani Moretta),展線橫跨地面層及兩個主要樓層Piano Nobile,在20個直覺式排布的房間內,展出逾200件作品。這些作品與建築本身的裝飾語言展開對話,形成一場由直覺而非嚴密邏輯主導的敘事。

展覽同時關注傳統工藝與當代創新的交織。參觀者將看到威尼斯著名的玻璃工藝在Alexander Kirkeby與Ritsue Mishima的手中煥發新生,亦能見證Hubert Duprat讓昆蟲利用金、珠、鑽石等珍稀物料築巢的神奇工藝。基金會創辦人Dries Van Noten與Patrick Vangheluwe表示:「我們對美的興趣,不在於它給予了何種結論,而在於它引發了何種省思。」他們認為,美並非逃避現實,而是參與現實的方式;當美帶來模糊、遲緩或矛盾時,它便成為微妙而強大的抗議。
