At the corner of Hollywood Road and Peel Street, the boutique arrests the eye with its asymmetrical architecture and a striking two-tier green façade. The upper level's panoramic window stages an animated neon installation by artist Jive Lau, a luminous counterpoint that captures the city's vibrant energy while offering tantalising glimpses of the interior. Stepping past the bespoke entrance mosaic, one enters a world where the quiet elegance of Parisian Haussmannian interiors - with their signature mouldings and alcoves - engages in a seamless, sophisticated dialogue with the rich decorative traditions of 1970s and 1980s Hong Kong.

Traditional craftsmanship meets the kinetic glow of neon lighting and a galvanised metal ceiling, evoking the antique shops of the neighborhood. The atmosphere is an eclectic, cultivated mix, featuring an Emperador marble mosaic floor with a floral motif inspired by native flora. This thoughtful curation of wooden furnishings and vibrant walls instantly transports the visitor into the richly-textured home of a discerning collector and a veritable cabinet of curiosities.

The ground floor pivots around a magnificent wooden island, a central anchor presenting a curated selection of the Maison's creations. It cleverly masks the Art of Gifting area, drawing the gaze towards a row of wall niches dedicated to the décor and fragrance collections. A staircase clad in luxurious skai leather, crowned by a resplendent Murano glass chandelier, ascends to the upper realm. Here, the Jive Lau neon artwork takes centre stage in the visitor’s line of sight, its glow subtly illuminating an oak bookcase dedicated to home collections, including Les Mondes de Diptyque - a captivating blend of nature and culture captured in wax. The floor is arranged for sensorial discovery: the herbarium and candle collection are framed by elegant wall alcoves beside a central green-and-black lacquered feature table. Opposite, Les Essences de Diptyque repose on a wooden cabinet, while at the rear, the Art of Body Care area is transformed into a private sanctuary.

This retreat is enveloped in a bespoke Redfield and Dattner fresco, its design mirroring the surrounding landscape and architecture in quiet harmony with the window installation. Further reinforcing the East-meets-West design philosophy, lacquered wooden cabinets topped with oval mirrors feature a bold graphic motif echoing Hong Kong's iconic metro tiles. A vintage Henning Korch sofa and mirrored wooden tables complete the inviting tableau, showcasing the perfume collection on a long, tiered stainless steel plinth.

This Hong Kong flagship is conceived as an immersive journey, encouraging visitors to delight the senses and the mind as they explore each collection's distinctive rituals. From the home range of scented candles - offering intoxicating floral, fruity, woody, spicy, and herbaceous notes - to the fine fragrances and the Art of Body Care line, every object is selected with the sole purpose of bringing infinite beauty into the everyday. This magnificent play on colours, materials, contrasts, and surprises establishes the Hollywood Road flagship as an essential destination for a moment of unbridled, imaginative discovery.
