製作機構Public Art Company與多個單位合作藝術裝置,為2024年Coachella音樂節建構出萬花筒般的遊樂場

Public Art Company創辦人Raffi Lehrer指:「我們的目標是策劃一個多元化、多學科的藝術項目,反映Coachella的折衷精神。」

在2024年的Coachella音樂節上,教人們如癡如醉的除了演出陣容外,還少不了帝國馬球俱樂部上出現的紀念性裝置。製作機構Public Art Company今年與Coachella藝術總監Paul Clemente和音樂節營運商Goldenvoice合作,展示出光、顏色、形式和規模的動態,將藝術、技術和社區協同起來。他們合作了三個「探索現實與想像界限」的大型戶外裝置,分別由藝術家Morag Myerscough、藝術工作室HANNAHNebbia打造,進行多維度的重新想像和探索巨大的建築形式。Clemente指:「2024年的裝置不僅在視覺上令人驚嘆,而且具有深度的互動性,為觀眾提供與藝術、彼此之間以及與周圍環境聯繫的新方式。」

HANNAH的「Monarchs: A House in Six Parts」探索了3D列印與傳統工藝的融合,展示出一系列引發互動和沉思的高聳塔樓,遊客可從下面來回穿梭。裝置由康乃爾大學教授Leslie Lok和Sasa Zivkovic合作完成,透過數碼製作和自然靈感的視角,重新構想建築設計。在藍、橙的漸變中,充滿活力的燈光效果在夜間將塔樓投射出各種陰影,在節日的喧囂中創造出獨特的聚會空間。

Morag Myerscough的「Dancing in the Sky」透過充滿活力的幾何廣場來慶祝集體體驗的樂趣,吸引人們的視線往上欣賞美麗的沙漠天空。Myerscough以大膽出眾、色彩繽紛的作品聞名,創造出鼓勵探索和參與的動態環境,讓每位參觀者都能成為藝術的一部分。她指:「動力元素在結構內的天空中舞蹈,頭頂上抽象的移動形狀似乎從地面上的活動和上面的太陽中獲取能量,整個空間充滿活力和活力,激發客人探索。」

Nebbia的「Babylon」塑造出一種對比研究,將古代建築形式與未來主義設計元素融為一體。作品出自倫敦建築師Brando Posocco和Madhav Kidao之手,是一座紀念建築,既是視覺地標,又是光影庇護所,讓參與音樂節日的遊人迷失在錯綜複雜、超凡脫俗的美麗之中。
